Why did I choose to learn Japanese? |
The personal project is task that is given to students in order for them to grow various skills and attain attributes that are beneficial for personal development. Thinking about this, I decided that for this project I would tackle a prior failure. I had previously learnt Japanese to a begginers level, but had given up due to the demanding syllabus and ineffiency in learning. I realized that learning this was so difficult not only because Japanese itself is hard, but also because its culture is so tied in. I knew nothing about Japanese culture, only that it was significantly diferent to mine. I thought if I chose to try to learn it again, I would be able to resolve a failure as well as expand my horizons on the world we live in. Through experiancing how Japanese people interact, I was able to comprehend different mindsets and acknowledge different beliefs.
